Hacker exposes finances of politicians, Hollywood stars

Los Angeles - An anonymous hacker has published personal and financial information of a dozen prominent stars and politicians, including Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z and Beyonce, US entertainment websites TMZ.com and The Hollywood Reporter reported Monday.

The reports said that the FBI and Los Angeles Police Department are investigating the case in which social security numbers, mortgage accounts, bank accounts, car loans and credit card details were posted online.

Among those targeted were Paris Hilton, Ashton Kutcher and Mel Gibson, while the political world was represented by Vice President Biden, former Secretary of State Clinton, FBI Director Robert Mueller, Attorney General Eric Holder and Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck.//DPA
