GSB employees protest to demand president's ouster

The state-run Government Savings Bank's employees this morning gathered at the bank's head-quarter building to oust its president Worawit Chailimpamontri as protesting against the bank's lending to the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) for the government's rice subsidy project.

Last week, there was a report that GSB extended a Bt5-billion loan to BAAC via the interbank lending market.
