Fun named best new artist at Grammy awards
Los Angeles - Indie rock trio Fun won the best new artist trophy at the Grammy Awards Sunday night, beating out a strong field that included Frank Ocean, The Lumineers, Alabama Shakes and Hunter Hayes.
Earlier in the evening the band won the song of the year award for their hit anthem We Are Young.In other early awards last year’s big winner, Adele, collected the pop solo performance trophy for Set Fire to the Rain, the Zac Brown Band won best country album for Uncaged and Carrie Underwood grabbed the prize for country solo performance.//DPA
