Five Stars' Charoen passes away
Famous movie producer Charoen Iamphungporn passed away early morning today on lung infection, at age 62.
His funeral service at Wat That Thong runs for 7 days, after bahting rite today. Some of his famous movies were all-time hits like Boonchu, Khun Suek, Fa Talai Jone, and Transitor Love Story.
Born in 1950, Charoen helped his brother (Kiat Iamphungporn) at Five Stars Production since his graduation from a vocational school. His last title was executive chairman of Five Stars, one of the oldest movie production houses.
