Fire-fighters still struggle to fight Phichit's Beung Sifai after six days

Disaster prevention officials and fire-fighters continued their efforts to control the fire that ravaged Phichit's Beung Sifai area for the sixth day yesterday.

Beung Sifai, meaning "Fire Lake" in Thai, located at the heart of Phichit Province covering 5,000 rais of land and had been dried up and the dried weeds growing around the area had caught fire, sending smoke to affect residents in nearby areas.
