The Election Commission will endorse the 15 remaining senators-elect on Tuesday, EC secretary general Puchong Nutrawong said Monday.
He said Tuesday is the 30-day deadline for the EC to endorse senators-elect.
Puchong said there were 74 complaints against the top-vote earners in 15 provinces and the EC could not finish deliberating the complaints in time for the 30-day deadline.
As a result, the EC would endorse the 15 remaining senators-elect before considering the complaints against them within one-year deadline.
The EC can ask the Criminal Court to disqualify them later if it decides that they have violated the election laws.
