EC requests help from police to guard polling stations

The Office of the Election Commission has set a letter to the police commissioner general and the Metropolitan police chief to seek security forces for keeping order at polling stations on Sunday.

The letter was signed by Somsak Suriyamongkol, deputy EC secretary general on behalf of the secretary general.
The letter asked the national police chief and metropolitan police chief to instruct police stations to deploy policemen to guard polling stations.
