Democrat Thepthai suggests PM's resignation
Democrat Party MP Thepthai Senapong on Sunday suggests Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra resign or dissolve Parliament on growing public dissent.
Referring to the ABAC Poll result, he said "The prime minister should resign or dissolve Parliament - which are the better solutions than a coup. She should weigh options to let democracy proceed or destroy it."
He said that public dissent is growing, reflecting through more protests on the street. He also remarked that the government’s push for legal amendments would also intensify parliamentary conflicts. The combined forces would lead to stronger opposition, he said.
