Death toll from Ramkamhaeng clash reaches four

The death toll from political skirmishes in Ramkhamhaeng University rose to four, according to the Public Health Ministry.

A 22-year-old private Thanasit Wiangkham was the latest victim of the skirmish at the university on Saturday’s night. He was sent to Phra Mongkutklao Hospital to receive treatment for gunshot wounds at his head.

Colonel Peerapol Pokpong, director of Emergency Department of the hospital, said Thanasit died yesterday morning. He was in the brain-death stage after being sent to the hospital. He was the fourth victim of the the civil strife between redshirt supporters and anti-government protesters in the university.
