Daily News head office attacked with M79 grenade

An M79 grenade was fired at the head office of Daily News Thursday night. Nobody was injured, police said.

The attack happened at 9 pm and the grenade landed on the ground between two buildings, causing a hole. The bomb fragments also hit the buildings.

Police suspected the grenade was fired from a pedestrian flyover or the Don Muang Tollway about 300 metres from the impact ground.
