DTAC TriNet allowed to launch 4G LTE service

Telecom committee of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) on Wednesday approved DTAC TriNet to launch 4G-Long Term Evolution wireless broadband service on its 2.1GHz spectrum band.

DTAC TriNet, subsidiary of Total Access Communication (DTAC), is one of the three holders of NBTC’s 2.1GHz licence. The other two are Advanced Wireless Network (AWN) of Advanced Info Service, and Real Future of True Corp.
