Manaus,Brazil - Cameroon are out of the World Cup after crashing to Croatia 4-0 in Manaus, with Mario Mandzukic getting a double.

The result sets up a tantalizing game between Croatia and Mexico in the next round with Croatia needing a victory to progress and Mexico needing a draw.

Veteran Croatia striker Ivica Olic put the Vatreni ahead after 11 minutes when he slotted home from inside the box after a sweeping move down the right started by Luka Modric. Ivan Pericic doubled the lead in the 48th minute after a poor clearance, and Mario Madzukic wrapped up matters with a header in the 64th minute and a tap-in nine minutes later.

Cameroon started brightly and competed well until midfielder Alex Song was given a straight red in the 40th minute for a blatant elbow rap on the back of Mandzukic.
