Constitutional Court to decide Wednesday whether to proceed with petition against Yingluck

The Constitutional Court will Wednesday decide whether to proceed with a petition by a group of senators against caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra related to unlawful transfer of the National Security Council chief.

Pimol Thampithakpong, the court's spokesman, said the court would hold a meeting to discuss whether to accept the petition from the group of 40 senators against Yingluck related to the transfer of Thawil Pliensri from the post of NSC secretary general.

The Supreme Administrative Court ruled that Yingluc's order to transfer Thawil was unlawful.

The senators accused Yingluck of violating Articles 180, 182 (7), 268 and 266 (2), (3) for interfering in permanent official's tranfer for vested interest.
