Civil Court seizes over Bt46 million worth of former transport permanent secretary's assets

The Civil Court Friday found former permanent secretary for Transport Ministry Supodh Saplom unusually rich and ordered the seizure of his assets worth Bt46.14 million.

He was charged in the court by public prosecutors on February 9 2012.

The court reasoned that it was impossible for Supodh to have amassed so much wealth through honest means in his government service.
