China and Japan answer call for more search planes and ships

Sydney - Two aircraft each from China and Japan will arrive in Australia this weekend to join the search for debris from a missing Malaysia Airlines jet.

Transport Minister Warren Truss, speaking at the Perth military base currently being used by Australian, New Zealand and US aircraft, said more countries were likely to join the hunt for possible debris spotted by satellite in the southern Indian Ocean.
