Pheu Thai Party leader Charupong Ruangsuwan Friday urged the general public to thoroughly heed the Constitutional Court judges' comments on the projects under the Bt2 trillion borrowing bill.
Referring to the comments that Thailand is not yet ready for some of the projects particularly the high-speed train, Charupong said these are part of the Pheu Thai's election campaign. That Pheu Thai won the election means the campaign won popular supports.
He noted that Pheu Thai would heed the advice if it involves the constitutionality of the bill and impacts on the public debt, not the appropriateness of the projects. He said that it is the general public who would consider if the views would stall or pull Thailand backward.
