Caretaker Labour Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung said Friday that three or four suspects have been arrested related to M79 grenade attack against the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
Chalerm, the director of the Centre for Administration of Peace and Order, said a team of police, civilian and military officers had inspected the area around the NACC head office and arrested the suspects.
A red-shirt group was rallying in front of the NACC to try to prevent it from indicting caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra in the rice-pledging scheme.
Chalerm said the authorities found an AK-47 assault rifle, a pen gun and a shotgun on the suspects and found an M79 launcer in a nearby area.
The authorities had yet to trace the owner of the M79 launcher, Chalerm said.
