CDA election to cost Bt2.5 billion
The Election Commission has estimated to spend Bt2.5 billion in organising the poll to fill 77 seats in the Constitution Drafting Assembly, EC member Prapun Naigowit said on Friday.
The CDA election will cost the same as organising the last general election," he said, noting the nationwide voting.
Although the charter amendment bill, designed for the CDA formation, is still being debated in the second reading, the EC has already set up a preparedness panel for the CDA poll, he said.
