Bhum Jai Thai Party secretary-general Supachai Chaisamut Wednesday produced a certification of voting in advance as a proof that he is qualified to contest the February 2 election as a party-list candidate.
Supachai said the Bangkok election director had issued a certification that he voted in advance for the July 3 2011 election.
Supachai was among seven Bhum Jai Thai party-list candidates disqualified by the Election Commission on allegations that they did not vote in the July 3 election.
Supachai said six other candidates of his party had also received certifications from their provincial election directors.
The evidences would be submitted to the Supreme Court for appealing against the EC’s decision, Supachai said.
