Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra said Sunday that he felt relieved and could smile now that the government has provided more water pumps to the city administration.

Sukhumbhand said 24 more pumps have been installed for draining water at the lower Khlong Hokwa Canal.
Moreover, the Flood Relief Operations Centre will give more pumps to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for draining water at the end of the drainage tunnel in Phrakhanong, Sukhumbhand said.
He thanked Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and FROC chief Justice Minister Pracha Promnok for providing the pumps to the BMA for draining the floodwaters faster.
