Thai baht on Wednesday weakens on intensifying domestic instability and external factors.
The baht has weakened to 31.21-22 per US dollar, from 32.15-17 in the morning. At one point, it was as low as 31.25.
Treasurers attributed the weakening to domestic instability - following chaos at Parliament today as well as the rubber-farmer protest. Meanwhile, the situation is Syria is far from over. The US on Friday also schedules to announce the non-farm payrolls in August. Higher job creation could confirm that the US would pull back the monetary easing.
