At least 4 injured in grenade attack at Victory Monument rally site

At least four people were injured when assailants lobbed two grenades at the back of the rally stage at the Victory Monument.

The attack was carried out at 1:40 pm by about six men on motorcycles who fled the scene.

An assailant hurled the first grenade but it hit a tree. While they were fleeing, one of them hurled another grenade to direction at the back of the stage.

Most of the injured are street vendors at the scene.

One of the injured is a Post Today reporter.
