Asean briefed on junta's road maps

Thai Foreign Ministry's permanent secretary Sihasak Puangketkaew Monday met Myanmar's Foreign Minister Wunna Maung Lwin to brief him on Thailand's road maps for the political future following the seizing of power by the military, a ministry spokesman said.

The briefing to Myanmar, which is this year's Asean chairman, aims to provide members of Asean with a better understanding on the latest situation as well as the facts, ministry spokesman Sek Wannamethee said.
