ADB President Kuroda resigns
Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Haruhiko Kuroda has resigned as he is nominated by Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to be governor of the Bank of Japan.
His resignation will be effective on March 18 and an election of a successor to complete his term will be held by the Board of Governors of ADB in accordance with ADB's Charter.
