64-year-old Briton commits suicide in Phuket
A 64-year-old Briton jumped to his death in Phuket Friday while waiting for help from the British embassy and his relatives at a tourist-police office.
Kenneth Caldwell reportedly ran out of money after vacationing on the popular island for nearly one month.
Records showed he came to Phuket in early October. Then on October 27, a hotel in Patong alerted police that he had failed to pay his accommodation and food bills that piled up to around Bt30,000.
