Police have stepped up security outside the Cambodia Embassy following the strained bilateral relations.

Some 45 crowd-control police were deployed to guard the embassy since Thursday night.

Police also set up barricades around the embassy.

Pol Col Anat Kledmanee said if angry Thais come to rally outside the Cambodian embassy, some 150 more police officers would be deployed there.
