A reshuffling of Cabinet at this juncture will likely trigger political disarray, faction leader Somsak Thepsuthin of Bhum Jai Thai Party said on Thursday.
Somsak said he saw no justification to remove Deputy Public Health Minister Manit Nop-amornbodi when comparing to the risk of the new Cabinet line-up.
On Wednesday, the Election Commission ruled to disqualify Manit on the ground of violating the share-holding ban.
Manit is accused of possessing shares in the telecom business and a venture with state concession. His disqualification will be forwarded for a mandatory judicial review by the Constitution Court.
Speaking for the defence, Somsak said Manit should try to complete the judicial review in order to set precedents on how to enforce the ban.
