Paramilitary trooper injured in ambush in Yala



Yala - A paramilitary trooper was injured when insurgents detonated a bomb to ambush a patrol unit.

The unit of four troopers was patrolling a railway in Supae Naebu village in Tambon Balor of Raman district at 6:30 am when the explosion occurred.

The explosion did not damage the track. The bomb was buried under the road beside the railway.

The injured trooper was identified as Witcha Banchuen, 34. He was rushed to the Raman Hospital.
