About 50 demonstrators have embarked on a campaign to walk from Rayong's Map Ta Phut industrial area to Bangkok.

Led by the Network of Eastern People, the demonstrators aimed to petition the Senate speaker to investigate the incumbent administration over its alleged failure to abide by the Constitution as soon as they reach Bangkok.

"The Senate or the Parliament should be able to impeach the incumbent Cabinet on this ground," the network's coordinator Suthi Atchasai said Monday as his group arrived Chon Buri.
