Deputy Public Health Minister Manit Nopamornbodi announced Wednesday that 290 more cases of type-A (H1N1) influenza were confirmed.

The new cases added up to 2,714 cases in Thailand.

Of these, 2,593 patients have been cured and 110 are still in hospitals and eight of them are in severe condition, Manit said.
