The Pheu Thai Party Sunday called on Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya to resign after police have issued summons against him and other yellow-shirt leaders for having taken part in seizing the Bangkok airports.

Pheu Thai spokesman Prompong Nopparit said Kasit had promised to step down once police charge him for his involvement in the Bangkok airports' seizures.

The spokesman said now that police had issued a summon for him to testify, he should honour his words and resign.
