Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajvia said Friday that the red-shirt people could hold a demonstration as long as they do not break the law.

Speaking to reporters in Beijing, Abhisit said if the red-shirt protesters break the law, the government will use take legal action against them.

Abhisit said it is not justified for the red-shirt people to demand the government’s ouster because the government has set up a committee to carry out political reform now.
