Police issue directive to ban blocking of roads around Government House

The Royal Thai Police has issued a directive to prohibit protesters from blocking the roads around the Government House.

The Metropolitan Police chief invoked the Royal Thai Police Act to issue the directive one day before the red-shirt people would gather at Sanam Luang on Saturday.

The red-shirt leaders said they would not move the protesters out of Sanam Luang to block the Government House like what they did during the April bloodshed.
