Ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra has denied his involvement in the plans to overthrow the government, known as Taksin I and Taksin II plots, red-shirt rally organiser Natthawut Saikua said Thursday, disclosing the ex-premier called him directly.
"I want to plead for justice since Thaksin has been smeared by linking him to the plots with which he has absolutely no involvement," Natthawut said.
He said the Manager-ASTV media outlet, seen as the mouthpiece of the yellow shirts, broke the news about the existence of the so-called Taksin plots, hence he viewed such report as lacking the credibility.
