Thai shares gained 3.71 points or 0.78 per cent when the market was open for trading Wednesday morning.

The composite index of the Stock Exchange of Thailand rose to 476.86 at 10:13 am with a trading volume of Bt1.671 billion.

The blue-chip SET50 rose 2.77 points or 0.83 per cent to 338.50.
