3 foreigners arrested for fraud
British citizens Robin John Faulkner and David Andersen Evans, as well as Fang Keng-Nien, a Taiwanese national, were arrested on Friday for credit card fraud.
Immigration Bureau chief Phanu Kerdlarpphol said their crimes caused damage of Bt3 million.
Evans was caught with 223 electronic cards while Fang had 109 cards in control. The three possessed Bt760,900 of cash and a skimming device.
The arrest followed a tip from Kasikornbank, which reported the credit card information theft in Soi Lasalle and nearby. They were caught at 3am today.
Skimming is the theft of credit card information.
