    Thaicom renews high-speed Internet deal
    Asian satellite operator Thaicom announced on Monday that it had signed a three-year renewal contract with telecommunications service provider TOT Plc (TOT), to support TOT's mission to provide high-speed Internet service throughout the country. The contract would have a special emphasis on remote areas that lacked a terrestrial telecommunications infrastructure, it said.
