    NBTC hails telecoms sales
    The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) will gain over Bt56.4 billion (including VAT) from selling three slots of the 700MHz spectrum to three telecoms operators on Wednesday, of which Bt36 billion will be used by the NBTC’s existing plan of easing the financial burden of the digital TV broadcasting licence holders.

Advanced Info Service (AIS) and Total Access Communication (DTAC) on Wednesday morning informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that their 900MHz subsidiaries will apply for a 700MHz licence from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission (NBTC).
