    HEALTH AUTHORITIES will provide free influenza shots for some 9.6 million children from next year under a Bt1-billion proposal that will soon be submitted to the National Vaccine Committee for approval. The vaccines will cover children from Prathom 1 to Mathayom 6.

    Parents offer reward for arrest of suspected killer of their innocent son
    The parents of a Mathayom 4 schoolboy who was shot dead in Trang’s Muang district last December have this week offered a Bt50,000 reward to anyone who could provide information leading to the arrest of the 51-year-old suspect after the police investigation into the case had so far failed to result in apprehension of the wanted man.

    Grounds found to accuse teacher of raping 12 year old
    The Chai Nat Municipality Employee Committee has decided to fully suspend from work a 40-year-old physical education teacher, who was accused of raping a 12-year-old schoolgirl last year, after a fact-finding mission found grounds of the offence, a source at the Wang Sing district’s municipality office said on Wednesday. If the teacher is found guilty, he could face serious disciplinary action.
