Farmers report foot-and-mouth disease linked to ministry scheme

There’s nothing like a good book
The Culture Ministry’s Department of Cultural Promotion has joined up with the Books For Children Foundation to introduce a range of children’s books as part of the “100 Great Books for Children and Youth 2017” project. The books are available at the Book Expo Thailand 2017, which continues through October 29, and a seminar is being held to explain their value to teachers and parents.

Culture Ministry to stage play based on HM the late King Bhumibol’s popular ‘The Story of Mahajanaka’
It started life as an illustrated book, then was later developed into a comic, play and animation. Finally His Majesty the King’s much-loved “Phra Mahachanok”, or “The Story of Mahajanaka”, will be depicted again as a new play to pay a final tribute and farewell to the former monarch at the Royal Cremation on October 26.
