LINE TV, Thailand’s leading online quality video platform, celebrates its fourth anniversary that initially began from offering quality South Korean and exclusive original contents, to now scaling into the mass market with TV drama and entertainment re-run programs from over 161 content partners combined. The service now heads into its fifth year with over 100% average yearly play-view and 70% average yearly user growth respectively.

Though first, the contents on LINE TV were from South Korea, the servicesoon began airing its own original content (first original content: “Stay: The Series” that the company partnered with GTH studio in producing). Users’ online TV re-run watching behavior have in fact positively driven traditional TV ratings where we have now seen strong correlations between play-view growth and TV ratings growth for many contents.
