Brand Finance, the leading independent brand valuation and strategy consultancy, calculated overall brand value, financial strength, marketing investment, stakeholder equity, and outstanding business performance along with the development of new businesses. AIS is proud to be the first Thai brand in the world's top-ten strongest telecoms brands and to have overtaken China Mobile, which previously ranked in first place.

Brand Finance named AIS as the world’s strongest telecoms brand with a brand strength index (BSI) score of 90.0 out of 100. Based on its overall brand value, AIS has become the strongest brand according to Brand Finance's insightful research of the world's 300 most valuable telecoms operator brands. Moreover, AIS beat China Mobile, which placed first last year.

AIS finished Q1/2019 with a strong net profit of Baht 7,615 million. 4G customers grew constantly adding up to 63% of 41.5 million total subscribers. Average data usage has increased to 11.4 gigabytes. The gain on postpaid of 353,900 subscribers, the highest in the last 11 quarters, accentuates AIS as No.1 mobile phone service provider with 48% market share. Moreover, AIS Fiber completed its first quarter with 64,500 subscribers added, the highest in the past seven quarters.
