Security tightened at Norwegian Embassy
Thai police yesterday beefed up security at key places, including the Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area, following Friday's twin attacks in Oslo that killed at least 80 people.
Police spokesman Maj-General Pravuth Thavornsiri said that Thai intelligence hadn't found any terrorist movement against the embassy in Thailand but as a precaution the national police chief instructed the special branch police to provide security to VIPs and key sites.
