Official balloting outcome

The Election Commission on Tuesday announced the official count of votes cast on Sunday.
The voter turnout was 75 per cent and Pheu Thai Party was declared victory grabbing 265 of 500 House seats, comprising 61 party-list seats via proportionate vote and 204 constituency seats via direct vote.
The
Democrat Party ranked second with 159 seats, comprising 44 party-list seats and 115 constituency seats.Bhum Jai Thai won 34 seats, comprising five party-list seats and 29 constituency seats.Chart Thai Pattana filled 19 seats, comprising four party-list seats and 15 constituency seats.Chart Pattana Puea Pandin won seven seats, comprising two party-list seats and five constituency seats.Palang Chon would fill seven seats, comprising one party-list seats and six constituency seats.Matubhum got two seats, comprising one each of direct and proportionate vote.Three parties, Rak Prathet Thai, Rak Santi and Mahachon, won one party-list seat each.
