Fatal dog attack

A three-year-old Golden Retriever attacked and killed its owner early yesterday in Chon Buri's Sattahip district.

The 51-year-old victim Mana Tesrit, who reportedly abused and kicked the dog since it was a puppy, sustained serious wounds and was pronounced dead in hospital.

Mana's wife Sompong Rodkhlam told police she was outside when a neighbour told her Mana was seriously injured after being attacked by their dog "Peter". She said Peter may have been aggressive to her husband because of his abuse of the animal.
