More than 1,000 fans of Hot 91.5 FM - one of A-Time Media's radio stations -turned out for last Saturday's free "Hot of the Year" concert at CentralWorld Plaza, dancing and applauding as their favourite bands followed each other on stage over a period that exceeded nine hours.
Also on stage were the radio station's new DJs, who gave the audience a rundown on the biggest hits of 2009 and introduced the sets by Stamp, Calories Blah Blah, Too Phopthorn, Bell Suppol, Soul Da, Link Corner, 25 Hours and Friday.
The crowd were up on their feet and dancing in the afternoon sun to songs by Instinct, Tina, Klear, Kala, Off AF6 and Zani AF6, before taking time out to chill to ballads by Nop Pornchamni, Jetset'er, Paradox, Boy Peacemaker, Waan Tanakrit and Shin Shinawut.
The sounds got heavier as the sun went down, with rock bands like Sweet Mullet, Ebola, Nologo, Potato, The Richman Toy, Big Ass, Tattoo Colour and Bodyslam taking to the stage.
