Aqua Television expands through takeover

Both jointly produced a number of programmes earlier and the acquisition was proposed in October, said Aqua managing director Apithep Thamkasem. Aqua Television will be renamed to Media 360, to accommodate the merging of Aview.

The company is also planning to join hands with GMM Tai Hub (GTH) to produce a movie, and the investment plan should be finalised late this year. Meanwhile, in the middle of next year, it will invest in a studio to accommodate the growing entertainment business.

Aqua Television expects Bt80 million of revenue this year and Bt250 million next year.
