The government's cost-cutting measures could have a slight effect on hotel revenue, as agencies may need to host events at venues using fewer celebrities.
Thai Hotels Association President Prakit Chinamourphong said he expected to see more price bargaining even though many agencies had started reducing expenses more than a year ago.
