Court dismiss lawsuit against Khattiya

The lower court had dismissed the case, but Seripisut appealed on grounds that Khattiya's comments to media challenging him to answer nine questions about the gambling den crackdown and seizing assets of the alleged patron Paijit "Por Pratunam" Thammarojpinit tarnished his reputation. It was reported that one of the questions was whether he wanted to distract people from another gambling den in the Pin Klao area.

 The Appeal Court yesterday ruled that Khattiya's comment was to question the plaintiff rather than to insult him, and dismissed the case.
