
Thai Foreign Ministry's deputy spokesman Thanee Thongpakdi said Tuesday that Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh's charge d'affairs Chalotorn Paowiboon had met Siwarak for the first time since arrest for about half and hour on Tuesday.
Thani quoted Siwarak as telling the envoy that he did not spy as charged.
Siwarak told the envoy that he was ok and had in good spirit.
The envoy also gave Siwarak some necessities.
Thai Foreign Ministry will be ready to facilitate if Siwarak's mother; Simaluck Na Nakhon Panom, wanted to travel to Phnom Penh to visit her son. Cambodian side will permit a visit on a case-by-case basis.
